Hi Rajeev,
Gripping. Thought-provoking. Insightful. And most importantly, pure fun.
I simply loved it!
I took the liberty of forwarding this link to my interns and students of journalism and Mass Communication because as a professional and the regional editor of Femina Pune Aurangabad Nagpur, I thought this was a fine example of how one ought to interview celebrity subjects sans the noise.
.Best always,
Corina B Manuel

This is just a fantastic experience for the viewers for sure to see all the Ace’s of Indian Cinemas getting together on table and sharing their own views and thoughts on certain things.
All of them are just amazing to listen, they are all the best of the players in their profession and a treat to watch them in the same frame.
Great work from Rajeev Masand.

The round table interviews were great to watch. Interesting and insightful. What about the actresses round table? That would be something!

These interviews are quite interesting. Especially for movie buffs. I had seen (or read?!?) an interview somewhere about the lack of community within the Indian film industry which could give an incentive or a platform to discuss cinema. These sort of interviews seem like baby steps to that eventual objective. Reminds me a lot of the round table interviews in Hollywood. However, I still feel the interviewees are a bit circumspect when it comes to conversations regarding specific movies or if they have not liked the work of specific colleagues. That means the discussion is not as free-flowing as it ought to be which is a bit unfortunate. One more thing that would make these interviews even more interesting is to conduct a round-table interview between actors/directors/writers/other technicians across languages. Maybe a roundtable interview between Aamir Khan (Hindi), Surya (Tamil), Mani Ratnam (Tamil), Nagarjuna (Telugu), Mohanlal (Malayalam) and Rituparno Ghosh (Bengali) or something like that. Would be an absolutely cool thing to do.
