  1. Hahaha…listening to the ‘Pits’ was more fun than the ‘Hits’… 😀

  2. A very apt final take. I liked the fact that Udaan and LSD took the top spots. They deserved to be there!!!

  6. You have got the balls to speak your mid Rajeev. Kudos to your guts!! I liked your Picks. Only surprise was the absence of DABANG!

  7. I agree with all reviews except Anjana Anjani doesn’t deserve to be No 1. It should be No Problem/ Tees Maar Khan.

  9. Hi Rajeev,
Anajana Anjanani did connect with the youth here in Australia. I reckon Action Replayy should be the worst movie followed by Dabaang(although it was the biggest hit in India) and of course Tees Maar Khan.
    Cheers.

  10. Liked the worst movies list.
These were films which dragged the audience
    into theatre with promise.
Kudos to the aam janta too
    they werent fooled
    all these movies bombed.
Would also add tees maar khan to that list.

  16. A glaring (and seemingly deliberate) omission from the “Hits”: My Name is Khan.

    Comment by Samir — January 2, 2011 @ 12:14 am

  17. Why are all the critics and journalists picking all the well reviewed small films as their favorites of the year??? It sounds like they are being fake and just trying to show that they look at well made films only and do not care about the commercial factor. I’ve watched all the films from the ‘Hits’ list and really liked them, but when it comes to creating a list like this, I will always have at least a few commercial and ‘entertaining’ film such as Dabangg and Golmaal 3 in it.

  18. Anjaana Anjaani was really good Rajeev. I dont know why you think the lead actors have done a bad job. I think Priyanka overshadowed Ranbir totally(whic is just the opposite in your review).
Think of the scene when she confronts Kunal and the scene when she cries in the car, and all the humorous scenes.
AA did start a bit boring but it took off when Priyanka and Ranbir met on the bridge.
The chemistry was on fire 🙂

  19. Hello Rajeev

You are my idol, i wonder how you miss blunder from brother and sister they should share pits top spot.Tees Maar Khan never being houseful. (House of fools)

We want top Hollywood list as well.

  20. Where is My Name Is Khan? I suppose it was one of the best in 2010.

    Comment by Viral — January 5, 2011 @ 2:20 am

  21. Superb. But I guess anjana anjani could have been on spot 2 and no entry on spot 1.

    Comment by Shardul — January 5, 2011 @ 1:35 pm

  22. what about hiss

    Comment by rahul — January 5, 2011 @ 9:45 pm

  23. U forgot to mention one blunder

    “‘Tees Maar Khan”

    Comment by Uj — January 7, 2011 @ 2:09 pm

  24. Udaan was my favourite movie of the year too. I certainly agree with all the hits , though you could have included Raajneeti and Tere Bin Laden at the 6th/7th place had you got more places on the ‘hit list’ . But Anjaana Anjaani , though a bad film was not the most frustrating. Houseful, i think took the cake for that . Surprising that it did not find a mention on the list

  25. hello rajeev!

agreed wid d pits except u shud tie TMK wid anjaana anjaani. the hits were gud.thank god dabang as not there in your list of hits.

  26. Hey Rajj,,

All said … anjaana anjaani in flop list was uncalled for … sort of biased opinion . or u had unrealistic expectation of how the movie would turn out to be. dude why is TMK not on the pits list.. hmmmm i can smell fish … do it right rajj

    Comment by nabbs — January 7, 2011 @ 10:59 pm

  27. you think anjana anjani was worst than golmal 3……i know we love ajay devgun but come on you are the only critic that could list that name……and stop golmal(new) series to be an epic..pls pls

    Comment by ghuman — February 11, 2011 @ 11:09 pm
